"Smart" teams got it over the summer before contact and never had to report on it...

Only week that could have been better was right before Florida. This gives an extra week to really work on the offense, find the right QB, and heal up.

Yep. Who knows, we might complete double digit passes again!

It’s amazing how much less I give a frick about some 18-20 year olds playing a game each year. They could call the season off now and I wouldn’t care.

That's generally what creeps in when we suck. I don't think many people feel that way if we're undefeated

This is a fact. In 2017 my wife and I spent somewhere around $10K on 2 of the last 3 games of the season (we did make a 10 day family vacation out of the Rose Bowl trip so that's not really "fair" but if we had wanted to go to SoCal on vacation it wouldn't have been in January and it sure as hell wouldn't have involved LA LOL...Carlsbad? Definitely. LA? Not a chance). We decided making the trip back to Atlanta for the Natty was just craziness (plus duck season had been on the back burner for almost a month due to UGA football). Had we made that trip it'd have been another $5K....and it was touch and go for a while. I wouldn't spend $10 attending the last 3 games of this season. I wouldn't spend $10 on the last 3 games of last season. And I have SEC CG Tickets every year....I will watch the games on TV because I can't help myself...47 years of doing the same thing is hard to get over (apparently for the program also). This is a problem across the board with CFB....it seems the sport is more popular than ever and is invincible but increasingly empty stadiums during the regular season and even worse during "Bowl Season" indicates a problem. I think this is why we see PI called anytime there is a defensive unit on the field and the ball is thrown anywhere in the vicinity of a receiver....fans apparently love watching TDs and could care less about defense. If we were undefeated right now the interest would be at an all time high...losing 2 and being out of the SEC east race for all practical purposes has thrown a damper on almost everyone's interest...

I always say this but it costs too damn much to go into a game any more. It’s to the point I would rather watch from home out on my back porch. I got a fireplace, grill in my green egg, and cheap beers. Piss in the yard and rip cigs. Last year I skipped all the cupcake games at the beginning of the year to shoot dove. I came very close to skipping Kentucky but the wheel fell off my work trailer so I had to stay home.

I haven't been blessed to live close enough to attend in person regular season games in years but I do now and will next year and will watch from the back porch....fire in the fire pit, brown water from the house, and cigars. Most importantly no crowds and it is a 20 step walk instead of 14 miles....on top of this I can kick the dog when called for, cry like a baby if necessary and my wife and kids won't make fun of me anymore than they already do.

Unbelievable and it doesn't surprise me that those who bitch the most on this board are the very worst examples of fair weather fans.

If ya "don't like crowds" and you can't get excited going up to Athens and seeing a game in person ya don't need to call yourself a fan.

As a young guy who hasn't quite been able to afford to go to as many games as he wanted, it kind of pisses me off to see it so unappreciated.

Last time I stepped foot in Sanford was about 3 years ago to the day.
UGA/SC.
I was 30 at the time. Got drunk, rode the bus up from the RV lot. Flasked in. Seemed that the people around me were offended by my intentions to get rowdy for a CBS 3:30 game. I wasn’t obnoxious drunk just very well lubricated. There also like three dudes that just crammed in next to us the whole time to talk to their buddies in front of us. Left a bad taste in my mouth for our fanship.

No normal person has a need to call himself a fan. The meaning of your parenthesis is puzzling.

The more they nerf it, the more that fans of old school football give up on it. Sooner or later, it will be soccer with out penalties for using hands.
