I get worried every year about our class, but we always seem to pull a top 20 or top 25 class. I think a top 30 class might be hard to do at this point honestly. We don't seem to be trending with really anyone.

Just landed 4* WDE George Wilson out of Virginia Beach. He looked to be UNC bound until the last 48 hours or so when insiders were predicting it to the Gamecocks in a dramatic turn of events.

A LOT of drama. When the rumors started floating 2 nights ago that Wilson had changed his mind, the coach that recruited George to UNC (Dre Bly) took to Twitter and @'ed George sending him the video to Jay Z's "On to the Next One." He deleted it about an hour later.
Tarholes are convinced we sent the bagman and arrived swinging that big dick SEC money around for Wilson to have done such an abrupt 180 in their opinions. They offered the fact that Wilson had been to their campus multiple times but had never stepped foot on our campus, nor even in Columbia, as further proof. They also said they were the equivalent of a "Lamborghini football program" and that George "must not want to play real college football at UNC in the ACC if he chooses to go to little Carolina to play."

Missed on TID. We've missed on 4 in-state kids now whereas we've done well in previous years under Muschamp. Lost him to Georgia.
Just another sign that he has to go. There are hardly any "Eskimos" left among our fanbase and even fewer "Eskimos" in the recruiting pool who are buying his ice.

Totally agree... the only reason Muschamp appeared to be recruiting "well" up until this year was because he was landing the top 2-3 guys in our state every year. Now the best he has done this year is land the #8 ranked kid in our state.

it's possible Sparky Woods inherited more talent in 1989 than what USC has currently for Beamer. Todd Ellis/Harold Green/Robert Brooks on offense. Corey Miller/Patrick Hinton come to mind on defense.

I think you have to approach it like you do recruiting underclassmen. You aren't allowed to talk to the players directly, you have to talk to high school coaches etc

That sucks but if he hitched his ride to Bobo then bye. Hopefully he is stepping back and seeing what type of offense we are goung to run.

Ok I want to nip something in the bud. Beamer getting credit for all the past stars is freaking ludicrous. He recruited under the name of HBC. These stars came here because of SOS end of rant.
