Welp. I got perma banned at TexAgs last night for the crime of.... saying the mods were going to delete all the threads that were critical of Liucci, that he calls people morons if they disagree with his lofty expectations, and that even politicians would be embarrassed at the amount of sunshine he pumps every single off season before everything comes crashing down. I didn't even curse or fun of anything other than say he doesn't accept criticism. 
The only other time I've got any kind of ban over there was way back when Fran was HC and that was b/c I called Fran a Little Debbie lover b/c he'd been seen on the sidelines eating Little Debbie's in the middle of a blowout loss.

For a couple of guys who claim to hate TexAgs and Liucci, y'all sure do spend a lot of time and effort following the ins and outs of that site.

What? I don't go on an on about Liucci like CG does. I do like to laugh at how quick his mods are to ban people for the pettiest of things and how over the top he is when he talks about the team ever year. I've had my account that got banned since 2005 but it only had 6003 posts in that amount of time w/the bulk of them coming during the Fran and Sherman eras. I was more just surprised that saying they were going to delete all the negative posts and that Looch is king sunshine is what got me perma banned. They usually don't nuke posters like that after a win.

I made the mistake of listening to KZNE this morning to hear certain individuals attempt to explain how you don't know what you are getting with a coach during year 3.
You know EXACTLY the direction of the program after year 3.
Sherril - Trending Up
Slocum - Trending WAY up
Franchione - Falling apart
Sherman - Trending up (2011 should not have happened the way it did)
Sumlin - Trending down
Fisher - To be determined, but not looking good
Only four coaches who won a national title during the BCS/Playoff era won their first title with that school after year 4 of their tenure at that school.
1998 - Fulmer (year 7)
1999 - Bowden (year 18 first title)
2000 - Stoops (year 2)
2001 - Coker (year 1)
2002 - Tressel (year 2)
2003 - Saban (year 4)
2004 - Carroll (year 4)
2005 - Brown (year 8)
2006 - Meyer (year 2)
2007 - Miles (year 3)
2009 - Saban (year 3)
