After seeing this squad through 4 games this season, where do you think we could’ve been with the below original schedule?

Sept. 5 Kent State WIN
Sept. 12 at Notre Dame LOSS
Sept. 19 at Mississippi State WIN
Sept. 26 vs. Texas A&M (Arlington, Texas) TOSS UP
Oct. 3 Charleston Southern WIN
Oct. 10 Alabama LOSS
Oct. 17 LSU TOSS UP
Oct. 24 OPEN
Oct. 31 Tennessee WIN
Nov. 7 at Auburn WIN
Nov. 14 Ole Miss WIN
Nov. 21 UL-Monroe WIN
Nov. 28 at Missouri TOSS UP

I’ve got 7 wins, 2 losses, and 3 toss up games.

This team would’ve benefited greatly from 3 rent a wins this season. Notre Dame game is probably a good one too.

ND is extremely overrated. Could have definitely beat them, even in South Bend.

you'd be mocked for even considering that before the season

We were scheduled to play Nevada, not Kent State, were we not?

Imagine if the offense had spring ball to get time to gel.

I have very little respect for ND. I was cautiously optimistic that we’d give them a good game 6 months ago.

With the record right now the lower bound on our record with this schedule is 5-7. That's more than our wins from 2018 and 2019 combined

Hope they work out the game in south bend. ND probably want Arkansas to play @ND in 2025 and play a return later

I didn’t do it this year because I didn’t know if we would even play.

The ND game to me is a toss up as well. They're going to get smoked by 30 by Clemson. We're probably going to lose by 3-4 TDs to Bama.

I'd say that makes us about even. Irish have also looked very average this year.

At minimum, we win 7. I'd say in reality, probably 8 or 9. And win 4-5 conference games and finish 3rd or 4th in the west...which would basically be the biggest 1-year P5 turnaround in recent memory.

If Sam wins 5 games this year, he's coach of the year, easily.

Thank god we play Bama at the end of the year

Always hated that we had to play them earlier and get our clocks cleaned and demoralized
