Absolutely panicked when UGA when down 27-24. Were getting 5 yards with every run, and then immediately went away from it and asked a 5'7" walk-on to chuck it on every play.

Was stupid... 2 interceptions and 40 throws for no reason.

Was Kirby trying to show they could hit big plays? Honestly if bennett just hits the open underneath guys they probably still win

I totally agree that we should have stuck with the run more. No argument there. But Monken did a good job scheme wise and had guys running open all night. Bennett just didn’t hit them.

I'm guessing Bennett simply cannot see those underneath guys. It's not like he didn't have plenty of time to find them.

Monken gets partial credit, the UGA Wrs get some credit, but Golding's scheme and coaching are also a BIG benefit there. Give credit where its due

Seriously, only knock on Bennett is his height. I think he struggles to see the field when the big uglies are all around him.

Stetson is severely limited, just the way it is. If I see another batted pass

He doesn't have the arm to go deep and that just condenses the field. TOs were the main killer.

But anywho, Bama is the best team in the SEC by a good margin. UGA will need to get Daniels up to speed by the SECCG.

I thought the same thing. I think they felt like they didn't have to run the ball, but really, they should've stayed with it and control the clock. Had they done that, game would've been closer.

Agreed. UGA 1st half and UGA 2nd half, 2 different teams. Why they put the game on a walk-ons shoulders in 2nd half is beyond me.

I thought some of the pass play calls were fine but Bennett panicked hard too. He was doing fine at times for the most part. Otherwise, their run game was very good last night

We were mixing the run and pass while we were having success with it.

As for 3rd downs, we didnt think we could run on Bamas D on third down (we weren't very good at it against Arkansas or Tennessee). We only converted 1 third down on the ground Saturday.

Bama did to UGA what we did to Auburn and Tennessee... kill the QB on third downs.

The plays were there. We just didn't have the QB to consistently make them.

Kirby did the same thing in BR in 2018. They were running it down our throats then just decided to start airing it out
