He seems like a VFL.

He needs lifetime eligibility.

Tony Basilio and the fanbase might go full seppuku on live air if that happens.

I was looking at Jarrett Guarantano’s high school stats the other day. He averaged 148 passing yards per game in his senior year and less than 100 passing yards per game in his junior season. He ran for a little over 200 yards in his junior and senior seasons on about 2.5 yards per carry so he wasn’t much of a duel threat running QB either. Why was this guy such a highly rated recruit? He wasn’t even that good of a high school QB.

A couple of my Vol friends won't survive if he does.

He went to a high school that has a good reputation and is sort of a regional powerhouse and kids from schools like that tend to get the benefit of the doubt. I think he also did well at all those camps and 7 on 7s that a lot of coaches rely on.
