Why? Rona?
Eta: just looked it up. It’s so Florida can play Mizzou, and Mizzou can play Kentucky next weekend.

Yes, but not us.
With Florida having so many positives, the SEC is switching the schedule up with a few teams.

Figured it wasn’t us since we’re playing tomorrow
But glad they’re at least working through the struggles of this season.

With no bye weeks, there's no way that the Big Ten makes it through their schedule.

Works out well for us. UK was looking like a setup game after a brutal stretch.

Perhaps, but I'd much rather have a week of before florida.

So no bye before Florida?

At least they don't have one, either. That is part of how Spurrier burned us for so many years.

Dude, frick that. The SEC wouldn’t let us get two straight home games vs Barn because they gave us a break and let us have an off week before Florida. It would be nice to see a certain AD grow a pair.

McGarity gets bent over every time there is any kind of scheduling difficulty. He hasn’t won us an advantageous situation yet.

To be fair about this particular situation, he likely did not have much say here. Covid protocols will call for some concessions in order to keep the season going.
But in general, yes, he bends over and spreads those cheeks every time he even gets the scent that someone else wants a favor it seems.

I'm not defending mcgarity because I dont approve of his resume' while at Georgia.
But every year for the past 15 years, UGA has to fight to keep our 3 rivals (Auburn cross division, Florida neutral site, and Tech out of conference). It isnt unreasonable to think that UGA would be in the first 7 teams to give up special concessions because the annual schedule affecting the entire conference is heavily influenced by our traditions.

Is it still gonna be at noon?
Doesn't thrill me playing a big game at night on the road followed by a nooner and Id rather play Missouri or Vandy instead of UK.

I'm just glad this game is a noon game. It seems terrible things have happened in Lexington for night games. On a side note, hopefully they keep this game in October so every other year we can catch some horse races in Lexington if we go to a game.
