Lol I guess you forgot how many years it took pearl to start winning year in and year out. He had to change the losing culture, which takes a few years in most cases. Also he has to recruit his style of player to fit his system.you Aubs act like you are a blue blood.lol

I like Oats but c'mon man. Let him win something that matters before we crown him.

His team wouldn’t have made it to they Big Dance last year despite returning a lot of players and a down year in the SEC.

Crippling injuries: Herb was playing literally one-handed 3nd half of season, Rojas who was heavily counted on missed the entire year with a knee injury, Reese had viral illness and a bad hip, Gary missed the year with an ACL injury, Bolden had stomach issues. Quinnerly was one of the only players in DI sports who was denied immediate eligibility when he transferred.

Bama essentially had no healthy inside players. Had to play Kira almost 40 minutes per game so he was worn out toward the end of the season.

Anyway we'll see what they are this year assuming Quinnerly is able at PG. Everything else should be in place. Oats does a good job vs Pearl's teams. He's going to be a handful.

I don't want this response to come off as butthurt or defensive, but our roster last year and Oats' system were oil and water. I think that's why we were still inconsistent.

The roster was turned over in a big way and matches Oats' system much better than it did a year ago. As long as we don't suffer injuries on the same scale as we did last year, I think Alabama will be much better and more consistent than last season.

It has to be frustrating being an auburn fan. They finally had something, and now Bama is going to come along and take it away from them

Auburn pre-Pearl and Alabama pre-Oats aren’t even comparable.

Auburn was in a much worse place. It’s not even close, really.
