Dear diary..........

we have heard this same BS every year for how long?

With Mullen at UF your window is closing quickly. You have had several opportunities only to piss them away.

Dan Mullen? Give me a break. His Gators and that world beater QB of his couldn’t even convert a third down last year against UGA. But can he dance!!! Wow! I could watch that all day!

Auburn's town was built for college football, and everything in that town is college football. If you ever go to a meaningful big boy football game down there when they roll toomers corner you'd change your mind

Auburn is the second best tailgating scene in the SEC next to BR. And it’s pretty close

Thought this was a debate over game day experience.. money don’t buy rings brotha.. Oregon has all the funds in the world and can’t make the jump.. everyone knows Georgia is good for just being good enough for there to be hope, only for them to choke it away every time.

Now, I’ve actually had the best time at Texas A&M as an away fan. Of course I’m bias to Baton Rouge but as far as going to the city/game as the away opponent it’s aggies without a doubt. I haven’t been to them all so that’s just my experience. Georgia was the second best by a mile. I loved Athens.

Been to Auburn (2012), Ole Miss (2013), and UGA (2019).

Auburn and UGA are 1A, and 1B. Great towns, tailgating, GREAT fans (especially AU). Terrible refs at UGA.

Ole Miss was a neat town, but stupid liquor laws. Grove totally overrated, fans not friendly at all. would stay both nights in Memphis if I went back.

I agree! Problem is lack of things to do and decent hotel rooms. But the stadium, fans, campus all are top notch! Good luck on a good season that has potential.

baton rouge is a shite hole
let me guess, you made the drive from the interstate downtown, down nicholson to campus and then back out - one of the worst streets in the entire br metro area

ole miss just has the lots
yeah. that's all they have. no square. no awesome campus

gameday experience, being in campus area for the entire day (haven't been to scar or mizz)
1. lsu
2. ole miss/uga
3. bama/auburn (very impressive gameday, the top 3 are just special at another level)
4. tenn/a&m/ark/fla
5. state/uk
6. vandy

incidentally, i would put texas about equal to bama and auburn. they were fantastic.

There are three SEC gameday experiences that have really stood out to me.

1. South Carolina @ LSU (2012)
2. Georgia @ South Carolina (2012)
3. South Carolina @ Auburn (2010)

LSU and Auburn night games were unbelievable.
