Am I crazy for being confident in a possible win against LSU? Their best player (Chase) opted out and they will be running out a QB who has never made a collegiate start.

Plus, a 25k capacity tiger stadium instead of a 100k+ capacity tiger stadium almost completely nullifies home field advantage.

Call me crazy, but I think we have a punchers chance. At the very least it should be a competitive game

I think it’s far fetched imo. I don’t think people understand the lack of depth that we have on defense. It we start going 3 and out on the regular in the first half, Emery is going to wear us down. Tbh, I think the first two drives will tell us everything we need to know.

I’m just excited to see a quarterback who is able to throw the ball. Hopefully we have a receiver who can get more than 2 touchdowns and 347 yards this year

yes.

We're taking on a new system/philosophy on both sides of the ball under current practice conditions. How many weeks have we had working this? The only good thing is we have a Stanford QB that should be able to grasp the system quickly.

LSU should be able to run at will against a newly installed 3-3-5 defense.

Our best case scenario is we're able to keep scoring with them and they come in overconfident.

That defense has tons to figure out in a short time. There is talent but damn, so much to do.

Do not get freaked out if LSU puts 50 or more up on us. This D needs a lot of players to step up to just keep it in the 30's right now.

I’ve been prepping for the coming apocalypse. Got excited about football then when all the official details with no tailgating and the reseating came out gave them up. Hopefully I will see something against LSU to get me excited about it again.

Gonna obviously be different and just plain weird this year with no crowds and what not— but all the hype aside with leach, I’m really excited to see what he does with our offense. Perhaps it’s because for the last 6ish years our offense has been about as deep as a 13 year old playing NCAA on the Xbox, but I’m excited nevertheless

The funniest thing is LSU fans can't help but take the bait no matter how absurd it is. I think that's the angle of a Pirate Grind.

State 72 LSU 10.

I know you're trolling but... You really think that, der?
