Now there seems to be some backtracking and he's getting an MRI as a precaution. If it's an ACL tear I'm probably just done with football for the year. I feel like I've been in an abusive relationship with Gamecock football my entire life.

Edit: Looks like he's out for the year with a torn ACL. It's been fun ya'll, I'm out. frick 2020 with a hammer.

Campus has been fine. My office over there opened back up on August 3, and we have seen an uptick in traffic now that students are back. We sponsored an event for the new freshmen over the weekend and had a nice turnout.

Yea I saw on the IG account
It’s pretty active and looks good
Just keep on trucking and we’ll have a football season!

Me and a friend went up to Chapel Hill the week before and on the ride home I said I would be surprised if we win another game this season after what we saw in the second half in that game.

He told me I was crazy, we had Vandy next week.... I unfortunately turned out to be right.

Allowing it but discouraging it. No tents allowed unless you are in a private lot.

Sounds like it.

I think it's more likely going to be Hill the longer they wait to name a starter.

No he just knows the offense...he can't make the throws Ryan can, but he's quicker on his reads due to exp in the offense

What’s going on with Joyner and Shi Smith?

Heard Joyner has some kind of "nagging, undisclosed injury" but that "he's still coming along great at WR." Sounds like smoke being blown up our asses.

1. I'm always wary of "undisclosed injuries." What's really going on?

2. If he is truly injured with a mysterious ailment then how can they judge that he's coming along great at WR? I've heard that he is practicing but I've heard more often that he isn't bc of this secret injury.

No idea what the deal is with Shi.

Interesting on Joyner.

Also, since I posted earlier, I heard Shi got in Champ’s dog house after he got in some trouble in Union back over Memorial Day in May. Huge party, etc. I won’t elaborate bc I’m not sure how true it all is, but it could have been bad for him.

As Soda reported in the other thread Hill has indeed been named the starter vs UT.

Yikes.

I hope he does fine, obviously, but trotting out a kid who has had 3 ACL injuries and didn't do anything special in the freaking MWC probably has Tennessee very excited.

Hilinski clearly has more upside and is more talented, but I suppose Muschamp does appreciate bringing in the same pieces that got you fired from your last gig and hoping it works at your new one.

Praying my skepticism is proven wrong here.

WE might lose every game this year, but since last Saturday, I'm in the mood to talk smack...

I have an extended family member that graduated from Clemson. Needless to say the past several years have been unbearable. We have a weekly family zoom call every weekend. I was kind of in a crappy mood Sat and the first thing they say on the zoom call is "Did you see the score of the game...." Oh, I got heated.
