The former football player turned actor is a member of the Castille football family dynasty. He was on the team as a defensive back until he left to pursue a career in acting. He played Tony Nathan in the film Woodlawn and will now be a series regular on a nationally syndicated television show.

Well that won’t help the false narrative that Bama makes up championships.

Yeah, that made me do a double take too. I assume they were just referring to the 2012 national championship game against Notre Dame that we played in 2013.

It was bad phrasing. I'm sure what they meant to write is that he quit the team in 2013 after winning two national championships (2011 and 2012).

I saw his character introduction episode, they didn't give him much anything to do in the episode, they were just introducing the character. I thought he did a good job, he didn't appear to BE acting, which is the mark of a good actor.
