Ranking the Contenders: Trey Alexander

2. ARKANSAS

quote:

The Hawgs could lose a ton of perimeter firepower after the season depending on how things go in Fayetteville for some on its roster. It would come as a mild surprise if Isaiah Joe does not leave for the NBA in the spring after dancing around the idea this summer, which could also be said for Moses Moody as long as he has the type of freshman season that some seem to think he will. While Arkansas will definitely focus on the transfer portal, bringing in fresh talent via the high school ranks is another avenue Eric Musselman will explore. The Razorbacks may not be the sole leaders for Alexander, but they are in the picture.

Ranking the Contenders: Arthur Kaluma

6. ARKANSAS

quote:

Arkansas will lose Vance Jackson and Justin Smith, two versatile wing-forwards, to graduation this spring and Kaluma represents the Razorbacks' best chance of replacing their production outside of the transfer portal. Eric Musselman has an extensive network in the state of Arizona and bringing well-connected David Patrick onto his staff should definitely help, but the Hawgs are behind with Kaluma.

Dang, really like Evans. That's two gone in a short span for hoops recruiting.

13. Arkansas Razorbacks
Previous ranking: 19

quote:

Coach Mike Neighbors might have the best guard trio in the country with fifth-year seniors Chelsea Dungee (16.9 PPG), Amber Ramirez (44.7 3PT%) and Destiny Slocum, a graduate transfer from Oregon State. They will make Neighbors' up-tempo offense flourish. The Razorbacks were the SEC's top 3-point-shooting team last season and could be even better with the addition of Slocum (15.2 PPG, 4.6 APG, 36.8 3PT% at Oregon State), top-50 recruit and Arkansas native Elauna Eaton and more minutes for sophomore Makayla Daniels (9.3 PPG, 44.6 3PT%). -- Creme

Not a deeper shooter but lead UALR in TS% last year and second in Offense rating.

Good offensive rebounder as well

Guess we have one spot left in the recruiting class now. Options are dwindling, assume it's probably Trey Alexander's to lose.

Yes and hopefully Dezonie is the realistic back up plan
