I may be wrong, but I’ve read that Wiggins is from Los Angeles or lived out there for a while. He was rumored to be going back for college until LSU turned up the heat this summer. Either way, he looks to be a really good player and fits the mold of the long, lean corners we are going after.

I'm sure he'll be a great player for LSU. What you are saying makes sense. If there is one thing LSU does not have to worry about it is the secondary.

So LSU is the standard for college football secondary recruiting now? 2020 secondary recruiting, UGA signed the #1 corner, #7 corner and the #182 composite recruit out of Louisiana. Its worth noting UGA 2021 commit, David Daniel, #78 composite will be in the secondary. Even if we miss on Green, our secondary recruiting is still a success. And we got a 2022 top 100 CB committed too. We ain't hurting in the secondary and won't be for a while.

No. he did not get an offer from Georgia. You can look it up if you would like.
That could be due to a lot of reasons, one being he is from California and may have said to our staff that he either wanted to go back to California or maybe he just wasn't interested in coming to Georgia.

Agreed. Not sure why they want to talk so much before the kid steps foot on campus. Georgia fans have been great in my experience. Georgia has earned the right to offer who y’all please. Y’all consistently dominate on the recruiting trail and y’all have done well under Smart. I’ve been thinking y’all would win a natty for a while. Honestly, I’m very surprised it hasn’t happened in so long.

It’s kinda ridiculous. He’s a good player, and we’re very happy with him. I don’t understand why some of our fan base needs validation from other fan bases.

One thing I have noticed on this board (SEC Rant, not just the recruiting board) is everybody worries what other fan bases think of them and/or their team. It's really strange, really. But, like I said....all the fan bases seem to be this way. That's why trolling is so effective.

I believe y'all will win a title in the near future. The talent is there. Similar to LSU before 2019, y'alls issue has been QB play and offensive philosophy.

So do I yet people will continue to say Kirby has underachieved. Fandom causes people to lose all sense of actually thinking before making ludicrous statements.
I never use offers ,or lack thereof , by instate schools as a true barometer of skill level. Way too many variables go into instate offers t blindly say a kid is no good because the local school didn't offer. LSU fans, particularly those with detailed knowledge of how our own instate offers work, should be the first to acknowledge this. There are likely 10 kids a year that get no LSU offer that can play anywhere in the country. About 5 wrs this year alone. Just because we don't offer doesn't mean the kids suck.
