Is Drew Lock a good quarterback?

Brett Kollmann youtube video. Shows Lock's timidness as season progressed in Denver. Luckily seems like a bit can be 'blamed' on his receivers, so hopefully he doesn't let that become standard. I wish he wasn't at Denver of course , but it looks like he has a very good chance of being a top notch QB with the right guidance (which seems like with Elway there should be very realistic).

No need to ask this question, if he can't succeed as the second best team in the AFC West this year, he will be deemed a failure. It's really that simple.

FWIW, I think he will be exactly that, a good qb but not great, that will occasionally get exposed - similar career to Matt Stafford.

I'm 55 so maybe all these critics are much younger than me. But I remember the days when rookies sucked and the norm was 3 years to blossom. We want everyone to be pro bowlers from day 1. These are professional grown men, with professional coaches who only exist to exploit your weaknesses. How about we give Lock 2 more seasons before a "professional" critique.

This is just going over why Lock started so well and what happened to regress him. Of course he is going to get more years. It just seemed like a good video on Lock. It isn't a Lock hit piece...

Denver coaching is horrible

Teams would load the box and he would still run it, go 3 and out, and force his defense to play tired, till they died of exhaustion, and try to win the game. It was something to watch. Tony Dungee in Tampa style coaching.

He’s going to have a huge year. Some huge weapons for him in the passing game

Did you know missouri didn't have 4* and 5* players all around him like Alabama, LSU, Georgia and others. Also What happened to Odom? He and the OC were not very good and failed to recruit better players all around to compete with the top schools in football. Also the running game were not good.
Drew Lock did get better at the end of the season. But was not enough and needed more weapons. Then Denver got a bunch of receivers and one TE from the draft and experts said were very good and will give Drew Lock more weapons to throw to and that will help keep up with KC Chief's offense.

He is already getting the hang with the ones from last year and then add the new weapons and it shouldn't be difficult with the others. If Missouri can get the offense going in a short time and that will be huge!
