My 1st Mizzou game was '97 with my Dad. I was devastated at the time, so if every Nubs fan caught syphilis I wouldn't care.

When we beat Nebraska back to back at Mizzou back in the OOs, I had my oldest with me then 8 or so. Video'd him with the goal posts going down behind him. The second time, I took him down to the southwest corner where all the Husker fans were blaming Sovich, Osborne, God, etc and I told him to soak it in as he may never get this chance again. I've told people if I had the chance to wish for a guaranteed National Championship for Mizzou or a 100 years of losing seasons for Nebraska, I'd take the latter. Mizzou could always get good enough to win a NC. I genuinely hate Nebraska, could care less about KU. In fact, I hope we let the rivalry stay dead. The kids at Mizzou don't even think of KU so why should I. 'nuff said.

Not true. The hate is still taught. Maybe not to the extent or reach as in years past, but I have a junior at the school that would tell you this isn't true.
