Too heavy to already be slow... I always felt like he owed his recruiting ranking and AU scholly to Kerryon.

Malik deserved and earned his scholarship. Good luck to Malik and who knows maybe he was asked to come in heavier last year to be a blocking back for 3rd down like he was.

Injuries. He always had one. One of the articles I read said that was the reason why he’s stepping away from football. He’ll continue his grad school at Auburn

He nearly had more career fumbles (4) than rushing TDs (5).

Good guy. Great attitude. Represented the university well. Never got in trouble. Team player.

At the end of the day, though, he was always injured and really wasn’t that good to start with. He had a high floor and very low ceiling.

Good luck to the man. Glad he’s continuing and finishing his degree.

He’s probably realized there won’t be a season to return to. Don’t blame him as his career lies outside of football. Thankful he chose Auburn
