Think about all the connections he’s made with players over the years. He’s going to be swimming in cash soon.

ESPN updated their top 50 on each position for the 2021 class
Madison Peaster was the only one to make the list from the state of Arkansas
For as great as the class in '20 and '22 will be, '21 is very meh.
Jalen Ricks won't show up under Arkansas but would be shocked if he doesn't enter that list with more exposure

We seem to be in on a lot of highly rated guys for the '21 class, but not favored to land many of them. Still a ton of time left though. Was disappointed to see Trey Alexander get a CB to Oklahoma last week.
With the '22 class being so strong it might be a year where we could just take Jalen Ricks and then get three more senior grad transfers to open up more spots that year instead of using them on the '21 class.
If we do that and then Moody leaves after his sophomore year that would leave us with potentially 8 open spots in '22 we could take the 5 Arkansas kids plus Dyson Daniels and still have 2 spots left for transfers.
Glad I'm not a recruiting coordinator.

Yeah and I should be clear when I say class I'm just referring to the talent coming from the state of Arkansas, not the actual class we see sign for Arkansas

No kidding and basketball is on a different level than football in terms of trying to make the numbers work

Fans concerned about Vanover's size and strength will be happy to hear that he has packed on the pounds over the past year. His current weight is up to 247 pounds.

247 Article on Derrian Ford
quote:
Coming off an undefeated high school season, Derrian Ford, a 6-foot-3 and 190-pound combo guard out of Magnolia (Ark.) High School, is heading up a high major recruitment that is still growing having already received over 15 scholarship offers.
"It’s been great being able to talk to coaches multiple times a day," he said of how his recruiting process has been going. "I’m just loving the process and loving building these bonds with the coaches that I’ve always watched on TV and now I’m getting the opportunity to speak with them. All the schools that I have talked to are really putting their hard effort into me."
When asked of who has been recruiting him hard, Ford mentioned Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Texas A&M and Texas Tech and he talked about what each program has been telling him.
quote:
Arkansas: "We talk a lot. They’re bigger than basketball, from the talks I have had with them. They’re bigger than basketball so that’s a great thing. They really focus on you more than what you can do on the court. They focus on your education so that’s great, in my eyes."

Based on what limited information I have, this can't be right or is it?

According to 247 we haven’t offered. His top 10 consists of his offers. Which, at this point are those 10 schools.

I highly doubt he has those 10 schools giving him a commitable offer right now. Maybe I’m wrong but doesn’t make much sense from what I’ve seen and heard.
Edit: I see now where 247 has just updated all his offers based on his list but before that they only had Miami and TCU as offers.

4 players from the state in the top 125 nationally
Going to be interesting to see how much Smith and Ford move around in the rankings during the next 2 years.

Richard Isaacs Jr 247
quote:
The 23rd ranked prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Isaacs is a productive point guard who does a nice job mixing between efficiently shooting/scoring and creating for teammates.
The five-star prospect has been out of action the past several weeks due to an injury but is now almost back to full strength.
“I broke my shooting wrist in a freak accident slipping outside and I was out for about a month and a half,” said Isaacs. “I just started working out again. It felt like the longest time in my life without shooting a basketball, ever since I first started playing.
“I’m not saying I’m glad it happened but it showed me how much I really love basketball. Also if it was going to happen I’m glad it happened at this time since there haven’t been games. But it was still really tough for me.”
While Isaacs was out of action, he said there were a handful of programs he spent the most time talking to. “Kansas, Oregon, Marquette, St. Mary’s, Arkansas, Florida State, Ole Miss, Arizona State and Gonzaga,” said Isaacs. “I’ve been talking to those schools the most."
