re: Budget saltwater fishing rig advice? Edawg?

Nice. Got out there and wet some lines today. Weather looked like it was going to be pure shite for the weekend as of Friday. Saturday morning the forecast shifted. Same thing today.

Unfortunately got skunked, couple of fish on but no luck getting anything reeled in (presumably missed/bad hook set). Fwiw, seemed like everyone else was coming up goose eggs too. Started out at the pier with zero luck at all, then shifted to the tidal creeks with the tide (birds were all hanging out here as well), and saw quite a few bait fish jumping out of the water.

Will probably try to get back out a few times in the earlier AM out after work this week as well. Hopefully will have some more luck. Either way was a beautiful time.

Edawg, I'll give you a shout but with a covid paranoid pregnant wife, probably going to have to raincheck a charter. (Without a doubt will look your way once I won't get murdered for getting near another human. )
