I noticed that too - also they all have this chip on their shoulder about SEC teams not playing up North "in November"? As if Ohio State ever plays out of conference games in November?

Yea probably a shot at the pre-rivalry game FCS week that the SEC does. Which is honestly a valid criticism

Being frank there really isn’t but 8 or 9 B1G and Northeast trips that are worth making for Bama. And we did one 2011. Are we supposed to actively seek out a trip to the Carrier Dome when we can schedule anyone we want? Ohio State travels out of their region for home and homes more often because there are so few decent OOC teams in the area

I think it's a criticism in terms of basically getting a bye week that isn't a bye week, but nobody is playing mid-November Top 10 OOC games

Do they seriously not understand why end of Dec-Jan games are played in warm climates?

Oh it’s definitely a thing. I guess the 75 degree January Florida weather + the SEC team having a slight crowd advantage in a medium sized stadium is some huge factor

I know Saban is the GOAt but I don't think he will still be coaching at 75. Eventually he will stop being able to keep up. C'est la vie.

I dunno, I could see him hanging around that long to avenge that playoff loss. That's one of the few teams that he has a losing record against. He's 2-3 against the Buckeyes by my count overall: 2-2 at Michigan State and 0-1 at Bama. I hope he gets another crack at them. OSU is another Georgia: a whole lot of talk and hot air over a pretty empty trophy case.

They have six NC's and 38 B1G conference championships. That's hardly empty.

You make some terribly uninformed statements.

I’ll concede the B1G trophies although it’s been a two team league for the better part of the last 50 years.

Those 8 National championships are 5 disputed titles and 3 legitimate ones, only 2 of which were during the modern era. The B1G teams were quite adept at winning the political games that the poll era entailed. I maintain that Ohio State talks a better game than they play.
