college or pro football? I have really enjoyed my Sundays the last few months and i will not have my sports experience tarnished with politics.

That will 100 percent happen with NFL. Im done with the whole thing.

College is getting right there on their heels. I never thought i wouldnt watch Carolina but i will chuck that too if i get annoyed.

Sports are my escape from the real world. I am actually looking forward to stress free weekends this fall..

Na I’m fiending for it.
Always am

It will be for the first 5 mins of the game during the national anthem.
And then they’ll play the game

They usually don’t even show the national anthem on TV anyway.

I’ll say this, I hate what they’re doing and would rather my politics be in it (Maga, guys standing for the anthem etc) but im not gonna give up the game because it’s the opposite of what i believe in

Sports makes you stressed?
Well that’s your problem

i normally would think i would give in but i went without nfl for a whole year back when this knee crap was getting out of hand.

last year i let down to watch..but im done there.

i love the cocks and just am praying the media dont beat us over the head with it.

i have a hotel room down there for the texas am weekend. and im not even sure there will be tickets for me, what with the social distancing bs.

I'm just about done with sports altogether. Universities in general have become a breeding ground for the cancel culture ideology that I feel is both fascistic in nature and dangerous to the fabric of our society. It would be one thing if we were worth a damn, but the returns on my emotional and monetary investments in Gamecock athletics have been minimal, even before this George Floyd nonsense began.

I read it as “i could be without the stress on the weekend” as...
“A game stresses me out”

I'm apathetic. I really don't care either way at this point.

I'm not looking forward to Carolina football because we're going to suck donkey dick, not because of politics.

The NFL on the other hand, I'm still looking forward to it. The kneeling issue was never going to disappear - a majority of the players have always been on Kaepernick's side since he started it. It was only a matter of time before this blew up and they all started doing it.

I'll only be mad about their politics if they refuse to play altogether and deprive the fans of a crucial outlet for distraction from the general shittiness of life.

Yea but we should be used to that
So really no issues

They won’t do that
Too much money to give up

I am ready for both. I used to get super worked up when we played poorly or lost games, but now I enjoy it for different reasons. If we play well or win big, it is just icing on the cake. I am not too concerned about the political aspect of it. Like IBG said, the kneeling will be over with and forgotten about for that game five seconds after kick.
