OL is the obvious biggest question mark. I believe our defense will be solid after the loss of some superstars graduated. If we can’t open holes and protect Nix then it’s going to be a tough year for sure.

One of my biggest worries is the amount of time they have to prepare. With no spring ball and very little summer ball, there will be a short window for the offense to get things together if Chad wants to make a good amount of changes. Out of the gate could be very vanilla this year
Me too Lanier, especially the OL. Tough enough with little practice in a new offense, but we have to learn a new offense, with little time, and four new linemen, several of which have not even practiced together. Underclassmen have at least practiced together, heck we may end up with two JC and a transfer.
To your point, gonna be very vanilla til we mesh a little.

Really was expecting a Bruce Pearl And/or Don Julio appreciation thread here

Different ways to look at it.
1. Lack of experience, glass half empty.
2. New blood will be better, glass half full.
Bo was mobile enough to survive behind a Line that never quite gelled last year so I’m hopeful about this year.

3. New and hopefully better coaching.

Bicknell.
Should be interesting to see if things improve upfront in spite of high turnover.
