Undoubtedly a hell of a coach. Made Auburn relevant when they were still facing Bryant and Dooley yearly. That’s no small feat.

He may have become an Auburn Tiger, but you know he still had some Dawg in him when he challenged the team by saying they weren’t “man enough” to beat Alabama in 2002. They answered the call and won in that stadium for the first time ever.

RIP Coach Dye - one of the great coaches in SEC history.

Easy bro.Dont think ever turned his back at us and he probably would have been our HC had Dooley left for Auburn in '81.

Would have been a completely different history for the program had he come to Athens.
