Yeah, Pittman handled this beautifully by staying off social media and quietly attending the protests with the team.

This is what it looks like when the players are in control of the programs. Tyis should have been addressed internally, but I guess everybody needs to be in the spotlight.

Don't think this won't happen here. We just haven't had any high profile players in a while that could draw that type of attention.

Very possible, but I feel Pittman is a little different breed. One of his former players responded to a Tweet or two regarding a pic of Sam at the Fayetteville protest:

A lot of y’all didn’t sit on the bus with Pitt everyday to and from practice. One of the most genuine human beings in the world. Nothing fake about that man. Nothing but love for the Pittman’s #Yyyyyyyyessiiiiiiiiir

He's the perfect dude to be leading the team in this current environment IMO.

Maybe there's a reason he stayed at Memphis for too long after all.

Florida State has a lot of character issues on that team. I don't think sending a playboy with a gambling addiction was the best choice for turning the locker room around. But I feel with his offense they're going to win games regardless and nobody will give a shite as long as he wins.

I'm normally in agreement on this, but if you lose the team, have a couple terrible years, he might only last two if its really bad

Lets not pretend this didn't cause the previous two HCs to be employed elsewhere currently.

I don't really think it would matter who the HC was/is, until the go through the agonizing process of culling the roster and changin the culture it will be different coach with the same results. But of course their program's ego and entitlement won't allow 4-6 down years and they end up in a repeated cycle of failure, similar to Tennessee football 2008-Current.

Obviously you have to have the right guy with the right vision and the correct amount of support to fix it. Its far to easy to snatch up the next Chaggy who expects everyone to change to him.
