Because we didn’t have any spring practice, I’m a bit worried when push comes to shove this season, Kirby might revert back to man ball. And I wouldn’t totally fault him because with a new system we are behind where we would be in a normal year, especially with the missed practices and meetings.

That said, once we get going I expect this offense to flourish. We’ve said for years that we have X amount of talent but sometimes our old scheme only showcased part of it. I’m ready to see what these receivers can do with more opportunities and what these backs can do without an 8+ man box.

Hadn’t heard that. I know June 8th was the allowed back date but I didn’t know if that meant back to the normal schedule or an adjusted one

6 weeks of practice is the word, so that should be something like 2 in July as "spring" and then 4 in August as "fall".

That would be great as it would allow Daniels to get some "spring" work in.

Americus, how we looking scholarship wise? Last numbers I saw were 86-87 before Daniels, so where does the attrition happen?

June is not the time for doom and gloom. There is enough of that everywhere else.

Daniels is one if the highest rated guys in the last decade. He was better than Bryce Young as Mater Dei QB. He's supposedly a sure fire NFL guy.

This can only be good news.

In 4 years Kirby has signed Eason, Fromm, Fields, Beck, Newman, and Daniels. He's finished in the top 3 in recruiting 3 straight years. He's overhauled the offense, and brought in an elite O coordinator. And he's fielded the best defense in the country.

This guy is doing whatever it takes to win, and kids believe it.
