Auburn coaching legend Pat Dye was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week and hospitalized in Atlanta.
He returned Auburn to national prominence when he posted a 99-39-4 record with four SEC titles from 1981-92. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005.

Latest is he’s struggling. Has kidney issues.
Not sure if he is still in Atlanta hosp where he was last week.

He is in Atlanta. Still with his health issues this is scary.

oanow.com says he’s at EAMC.

Shittiest part of this virus is that it seems to exacerbate whatever else you’ve got going on. For some people, quite critically.

Sounds like the hospitalization isn’t related to Covid, but a kidney issue. Seems he’s asymptomatic for Covid.

Yet if he dies it'll be counted as a covid death.
