2020-2021 Basketball Team

Our basketball team looks stacked again. KJ and Scottie have announced they're coming back, and so we just await word on AN.
If he does come back, great, if he doesn't, we are in capable hands at PG.
I look forward to next basketball season, but, I will say that I will join the "Fire Mike White" bandwagon if we sniff being a bubble team this year. NOW IS THE TIME!

We're not going to get a ton of media hype because people are down on White, but our roster next season legitimately has Top 10 potential

I've always personally liked White, he's a really good guy and someone I like leading the program, but it's time to produce. The consistent on-the-bubble status has to stop.

Nembhard just announced he is going pro. I think they have relaxed the rules so that he may still be able to change his mind later. Personally I hope he goes pro. He is a great player, but he doesn't push the pace ever. I think we will be in capable hands at the point with Glover, Mann & Appleby.

Mann declared today as well but he is able to come back if he chooses to

Yeah, but there seems to be chatter that even if Mann comes back he would transfer. We'll see. Either way, I think we are still very good with the returning pieces.

If Mann transfers, White is done in after next year.

We did get a sophomore Center from Michigan to transfer here. Haven't looked into this guy but we need a presence down low

We were down to just 2 bigs after the rest transfered or graduated. I hope Mann stays and I hope we play 10 and run the court.

Nembh needs to go, but want Mann to stay. White is to reliant on Nemb, and he is just going to hurt us if he comes back. Give me Glover or Mann at point any day of the week. Nemb far to often slowed the offense down to snail's pace, and we never played well doing that. Hopefully Mann stays after seeing his stock, and Nemb decides to go. Will benefit the team next year I'd believe.
