Faking Injuries

Nice article about rules committee looking to end the stop and drop method that coaches teach.

To combat all the defensive players faking injuries to halt a drive, what should be done? Make them sit 2 plays, the rest of the series, the rest of the quarter?

They will catch that sniper one day. He has taken down two Auburn players.

Wait, are you telling me that the SEC coach who first exploited the clock rules to trick the defense is also telling his players to fake injuries to slow down the other team's offense? What in tarnation?

They should just bring the stretcher.

Unless there is a serious head/neck injury idk who they let them deal with cramps on the field.

You can stretch on the sidelines.

Well we saw how well the stop the flop emphasis went in college basketball. By January the flop was back in full glory. I expect this to be the same. September the fake injury will be called but not in November.
