Na, but we're gonna need Barco to step up. Time for someone else to start scoring a shite ton of goals.
I really like that Hyndeman cat too, he looks legit.

I wish we could, that'd be a nice reunion for both of us, I'd imagine. I don't think he's done that well over the pond.

What a fricking gut punch. Lose a bunch of fan favorites (not to mention quality players) like Gressel, Nagbe, LGP, Tito and the Captain in the offseason and then lose the undisputed heart and soul of the team in the first MLS game.

Still have a quality team that should make the playoffs but this really puts a damper on the season for me. I went from being pumped about the Club America match to almost dreading it.

I'll watch and be interested to see whether they try and go after as big a replacement striker as they can or whether they stay with what they have and perhaps change tactics and put Pity and Barco more forward to try and make up the production that way.

Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Hope Josef comes back stronger than ever.

I’m admittedly not a die hard fan, but I enjoy this team quite a bit. With that said, I’ll also admit that, at this point, I am far more interested in seeing how this team does in its quest for a spot in the Club World Cup than I am with the MLS season. from that standpoint, this injury is devastating. it seemed like we started this year much stronger than last year and I was hoping we had a legit shot at the CCL title. oh well...Here’s to doing well enough this season without Josef to qualify for the CCL next year
