I almost forget how close to .500 this team was last year. The talent was obviously there and not sure what happened other than they were just young and made mistakes.

We swept Mizzou at Mizzou to get in the tournament and basically took their spot. It was awesome to watch, but I felt bad for Mizzou. It was their best team in a while.
Yeah Mace and Leftwich had bad years and it seemed to infect the rest of the pitchers. They pitched better in their freshman seasons.

14-0, took care of USF tonight. Good showing by Mace and the game was never in doubt.

The bats were pretty cold today, but they pulled it out, 16-0!!

Baseball + Softball combined 37-4. Getting it done. Conference play will take its toll, but it is nice to have a bunch of wins in the bank in the non-conference portion of the season.

Big week ahead for baseball, #15 FSU, then start SEC play vs. #3 Georgia. Remaining undefeated seems highly unlikely but I'd be more than happy with taking 3 out of 4 this week and weekend.
