Man this sucks. I really enjoyed watching this softball team the last couple years. Maybe things will work out ok but even if they do what an incredible disservice to Coach Smith if all true.

This guy brags about being vindictive, guarantee he’s hoping his name doesn’t get released. Anyone that powerful isn’t going to care much about their daughter getting an extra $5,000 taken off her tuition to ruin someone’s career. We’ll find out when someone quits or leaves the team because I’m sure the rest of the girls will know who it is and not want her or her parents as part of this program.

Seems to me that if all this is true, Ole Miss can just re-hire him or whatever. There's literally no reason whatsoever for him to NOT be the coach of the team.

Neal and Chase mentioned on the podcast they heard rumors that it’s more to the story but don’t want to be sued over it. Ole Miss might have found something when they looked into this.

So in case anybody is interested, the softball team was easing through their SEC opener 1-0 over Missouri through 4 and 2/3 innings. Jacobson pitching a gem. One inning later, the game is over and Missouri wins 9-1 via the run-rule. We left far too many on base. One run on 7 hits plus several walks. The big hit for Missouri was a 3-run, bases clearing triple from Cayla Kessinger. Yeah, that Kessinger with Ole Miss ties. Why is she at Missouri? I fear this is going to be the norm with this team now that SEC play has started. I hope I'm wrong.
