SEC says UA can't have a spring game there this April. Why is it fit for an SEC game then? Little Rock is even turning the ghetto "golf course" into a park. Football in Arkansas belongs in Fayetteville. Let's all hope Sankey and tSEC and the state of Arkansas make the right choice and bulldoze that excuse for a football venue.

I hate it that this always turns into a Little Rock vs NWA argument. If a person looks at this in a rational, logical manner, it's obvious that the WMS games need to go the way of the dodo bird.

I had season tickets to both venues for many years, and thoroughly enjoyed the WMS games, but it's past time for WMS to permanently be booked for Poison and Warrant comeback tour concerts.

For any logical school, you'd have all of your games in Fayetteville.

But since you're Arkansas, you're not only giving away home games to Little Rock, but you're also giving away home games to Dallas.

Yikes

Thank you SEC. all other schools play their games on campus, we should too. No other schools are dumb enough to make their players travel to a “home game” 3 hours away from campus.

Arkansas is a small arse state. I have friends in Texas who drive over 7 hours to watch Texas games.

If you want to watch Arkansas, drive your arse the 3-4 hours to Fayetteville to see them like every other school in the country.

also, while I’m ranting. Stop giving up a home game to A&M in Jerry’s World.

I lived in Arkansas at one point and it was about as far from Fayetteville as you could get while staying in the state, and I still knew people that had Arkansas season tickets and went for weekends.

It was closer to Starkville from where I lived so I had 0 issue making those trips there compared to other places I've been in.

But I never got a lot of things Arkansas did and that was one of them. I think for MSU when we played in Little Rock it was more of a neutral site for us then an away game since we both traveled about as far. We didn't even fly to Little Rock like we do to Fayetteville

I swear if you drive through Little Rock in the year 2020, you'd probably still hear INXS and George Michael songs on whatever main radio station there is

This is only 20 years too late.

It's fricking retarded that it is still an issue.

Arkansas will not play a game at War Memorial in the 2020 season. First time in 72 years.

You don't bulldoze WMS even if there are no more hog games. Leave it for High School Use.

I don’t care at all about Arkansas. But the Sec dictating where spring games can be played is beyond ridiculous.

I guess I can understand why the SEC would not want the LSU or Arkansas spring game in Dallas or Houston. But LSU in New Orleans or Shreveport. Or Arkansas in Little Rock would be serving their individual fan bases and helping local economies.

WMS is a dump. It should be left to high school teams. I would rather drive 4hrs to Fayetville than 1.5hrs to Little Rock. It's not necessarily about what's best for the state, it's about the team. The state can suck it up.

I sure hope so, it’s a hell hole and I’m from Little Rock but it’s time for it to go.

I much rather LSU play Arkansas in Fayetteville. War Memorial had a great atmosphere compared to the Fayetteville crowd. Makes it easier for the visiting team.

Yes it's fine for some HS games and state championships or whatever but way past time to use the beautiful stadium in Fayetteville. WMS definitely had its time.
