They have a decent shot this year. They're at home and LSU is replacing some important players and coaches.

While A&M returns a bunch.
This year should be a great game.

Ya knowwwwwww .... I'm glad LSU finally has a rival.
Every since Tulane went to shite the Tigahs have been floundering with no one to rival with.
That Arkansas thing BHam was hoping for never really worked out and LSU never liked being third on the list behind Auburn and Tennessee when it came to Bama.
Yeah, this A&M thing is working out nicely for LSU.
I'm happy for y'all. Just goes to show you that there is someone for everyone out there .... you just gotta find them.
God is good .... he was looking out for the both of y'all. Truly a match made in heaven.

A series has to be competitive to be considered a rivalry

To be fair, they lost by 15 at home with Trevor Knight in a year when Danny Etling threw 11 touchdowns and 5 picks and LSU fired Les Miles and Cam Cameron.
They then followed that up with a 24 point loss in Baton Rouge the next season in a year where Troy came in and beat the Tigers.
