Reading Tigernet today was pure gold.
They genuinely believe their offensive play calling was the main reason for the loss, and a lot of them wanted to fire the OC who helped them win 29 straight.
Because, you know, LSU’s defense is soft and obviously had nothing to do with their offense getting shut down. And there was no mention of the 628 yards, 42 points or the 17 points LSU left on the field by dropping a perfect TD pass, missing a FG and taking a mercy knee at the 1 with under two minutes.
The South Carolina fans weren’t exaggerating. That board makes this one look like the Mensa Society of Football Science.

They seem to play pretty fast and loose with the banhammer over on Tigernet for fans of other teams.

I went to the game. Most the Clemson fans cleared out before the game ended but a few actually walked up to me to congratulate me on the victory. Granted they were older (50’s) and I’m in my 40’s. I Know it’s a poor sampling,
In 2011 I sat surrounded by a bunch of really nice Alabama fans while suffering 21-0
My worst experiences have been with Miami fans In the Sugar Bowl when they played Florida, in Orlando when they played Wisconsin and in Dallas when they played LSU. I found them to be the worst fan base in real life.

They turned me a long time ago. I've legitimately never met a Clemson fan, or anyone associated with that school, that I'd care to have a second conversation with.

Small fanbase that I guess keeps to their own. Seemed to have a good time but not interested in doing so with LSU.
They're not good at talking football either. OU fans were awesome to talk with before the game, and gracious after. Clemson fans went from the fake humble annoying how dare you under estimate us routine to completely silent.
I pretty much found this to be true as well. They were scared of LSU fans. Overheard one guy in Orange ask another guy in Orange what it would be like if LSU won and the reply, "Not good." Was bizarre.

Yes, they are an odd breed. Very polite and easily ignored but definitely odd in a closet drunk Baptist kind of way.

Alabama took some grief due to history (Bear etc winning all the time), and then Saban doing the same and more. But when it was LSU-Fla-Auburn-UGA slugging it out on pretty even terms, I think most teams respected and rooted for the champs, and rooted for the others in their bowls too. That's when the conference elevated above the rest of CFB, and the SEC title was probably more in doubt than the BCS was.
If LSU goes on a run (unlikely, despite all my dreams), it will turn on us.
We all need to pinky swear on this- whoever makes it next year, needs to take the title and not let Ohio State or Clemson get it.

Why do you care so much if they run.... they clearly had one motive here.. come and disrupt our fan base and talk shite. If they win they back it up and keep taking if they lose they don’t ever come back it’s a win win. Don’t know why you guys get so worked up about Clemson posters it’s the internet they don’t have to be an sec school to post content
