Kirby will have his full next season. I was really hoping we would play Fromm.

Fromm owned FLorida I'm glad to see him leave.

Bigger question is can Mullen and company finally score more than 17 and win the game.

Losing all their offensive weapons and their line.

We are returning enough so no more excuses or needing to catch up.

We are trending the right way and they are trending down. It's time baby.

Kinda funny laughing at the “As the Swamp Burns” thread now.

My oh my... how the cookie crumbles.

Why do I think either Georgia or LSU will land the kid who started over Trask in high school.

I'm hoping Georgia whiffs on the transfers but that would be interesting.

You guys know how I love QB talk but here's a significant problem:

D'eriq King significantly regressed his last year at Houston. 58/110. It wasn't like he was playing incredible defensive juggernauts either. Oklahoma, Prairie View, Washington State and Tulane.

I also think they would have to drastically cut back on his rushing because they have Dwan Mathis (zero experience), Carson Beck (zero experience) and Stetson Bennett (Walk-on) behind him.

If Fromm couldn't pass and make it work, King won't either.

They seem to think Jamie Newman is going to go there. Newman is a good QB if we're being really honest, although he didn't go against great competition aside from Clemson.

If Coley is still the OC, with 4 brand new OL, thats still gonna be a huge issue for UGA.

He also only completed over 50% of his passes in one game in his last five games, and again, this wasn't against stellar competition.

The problem, too, is that he is a dual-threat QB and we've seen how they operate in offenses that aren't built for them (Jeff Driskel, cough, cough).

The bigger issue is that they already have middling play calling, an entire new line being shuffled in and a QB who won't have the benefit of working with the receivers in a full off-season.

They also lost Swift, who was basically an automatic running back and Fromm regressed passing in Coley's system.

Newman isn't Joe Burrow, but even Burrow (as I noted) had a tough time adjusting his first year at LSU.

Georgia's going to have serious problems on offense, and it'll likely be reminiscent of Florida playing with an elite defense and a horrendous offense. Defense holds all game, but offense just can't secure first downs and be consistent so they eventually tire out.
