Maybe because it was a veiled (yet obvious) attempt to troll Aggie fans? 
Alford chose Texas over LSU, Bama and A&M, who all recruited him and had the momentum at various points in his recruitment. But your post was only about Texas beating out A&M.

Incorrect. I stated that he was offered by several SEC programs and that ultimately he picked Texas over A&M. A&M was the only SEC program expecting his commitment. The fact that this was perceived as a troll attempt is just evidence of how sensitive some posters have become as a result of the real trolling on here. Silliness.

Merely mentioning that Alford was offered by other unnamed SEC schools (LSU & Bama) who actually recruited him agressively, with Bama actually even leading as of a few weeks ago doesn't make much sense. What motivated you to make that new thread post in the first place?

Not that I have to explain a fricking thing to you, but I posted it because he was a prospect that was being recruited in the SEC and nobody else had posted about his commitment here. The same reason most threads get posted here.

That is not the same reason most threads get posted here. However, there probably are some other players that got recruited by SEC schools and committed to non-SEC schools that nobody else started a thread for when they committed. Most threads get posted before there is any commit when there is a commit. Doing it a day later after he committed non SEC school just reeks of trying to troll.

Your thread was not an ongoing thread that followed this particular player's recruiting. Those are common and will be anchored once the player commits elsewhere.
Also, your thread seemed to single out A&M. I assume that your failure to mention LSU was just an oversight. We all have busy lives, I get it. I went ahead and whacked the thread because I didn't want what could be seen as a subtle troll to grow into a full-blown troll that would have resulted in your posting privileges being suspended.

I didn't name any of the other programs that offered, just referred to SEC programs, because A&M was the only one still expecting a commitment.
