Pittman was going to leave eventually, it's what highly successful assistants do. I thought he'd move up from position coach to OC somewhere. The leap to HC is surprising.
He'll recruit a good OL but what he can do as HC, very sketchy hire.

Whoever the Tennessee poster is who started this thread is either 16 or 18 or 12 and/or wasn’t paying attention to SEC football until very recently.
Pittman was the man at Tennessee, was the man at Arkansas and sure as Hell was the man at Georgia. He reminded me in many ways as Erk Russell. He shall be missed.
