IMO you just can't go wrong with Loretta Lynn. I'm pretty sure Doolittle got a fryin' pan to his head several times. Loretta was a tough one!

Again, I have always loved the female voice that has subtleties. A range, a quietness.
She could sing Broadway or a rock concert
