Alabama holds #1 while LSU passes UGA for second spot. Georgia takes third and UF holds all of 4th place. The winner of the LSU/UF will likely hold #2 unless there is a blow out on the bayou. Even with a loss, AU has held on to the Top 5, because let's face it, the rest of the SEC is pretty bad. Hats off to the Vol's for finding a few TDs in them, and not being ranked dead last again....

The Rebels crushed Vandy. Now Jigglypuff (Matt Luke) and co. travel to Missouri in what is a do or die game for Luke in terms of getting to a bowl.

quote:

Battle of the Week! Hogs travel to the Cats home to see who is not the worst team in the conference. Lots of bragging rights on the line in this matchup.

quote:

“We want Bama!” (curls into fetal position and awaits the inevitable)

quote:

It was tough, but we survived the bye

quote:

Well, bye gave the Hogs one Hell of a fight, to a tie nevertheless. I honestly thought bye would win in a runaway, so there's hope yet. Next up for the Hogs is Kentucky, they're using the towel boy as their QB at this point and will still probably win.

quote:

Florida gets tested again by a prolific LSU offense. Will Florida be able to overcome LSU’s offensive attack? Will LSU be able to stop Florida? Baton Rouge at night will be tough to overcome, but the 14 point line is ridiculous.

quote:

Alabama had their first of two Bye Weeks. No one got hurt or arrested so that's a win. Next up is a game against our best friends, Texas A&M. We love those guys.

quote:

The Fighting Tigers of LSU put together their most complete game of the season against a pretty good offensive team in Utah St. They showed the ability to run the football totaling almost 250 yds on the ground. Joe Burrow continued to do Joe Burrow things. This week is the first real test for the offense vs a very formidable Florida defense. Is LSU's offense the real deal? Can they cover a 2 TD spread? Tune in Saturday night in Death Valley to find out. 27-13 Tigers!

I'm always curious which teams are the hardest to quantify (have votes in the most spots).

Easiest to Hardest:
1. Florida
2. (Tied) Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Vandy
3. (Tied) Mizzou, UGA, Texas A&M, South Carolina
4. (Tied) MSU, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee
5. Ole Miss

Take aways:
* It is generally harder to pin down bad teams than good ones
* Missouri is surprising considering how their season started
* Alabama is the only school this week to skip a ranking - probably to a lone dissenter voting UGA #1 and Alabama #3
* From a glance it appears that Alabama and Auburn were each one vote away from fully solidifying their spots, and Mizzou and Texas A&M 2 votes from the same

why would lsu pass uga this week of all weeks? that makes no sense. i fully agree that the winner saturday should be at #2 by default, though.

I love how UGA is flying under the radar this year. Getting zero respect from the media. Beating teams by 30 pts and somehow that's not good enough.

"Tejas A&M we love those guys!"

I've no animosity at all toward them.

But the context of your usage of the words "love those guys" is wrong, just not how I feel about tejas a&m's football players.. indifferent maybe.
I'll wish them well whether we rout them or not.......and that's all I have to say about that.

You’ve been in the top 4 since the season started. UGA is a very good team...
