I know CBs are just one DB position, but I expected to see at least one UF CB on this graphic.
Yes, I know great CBs aren’t as often targeted, but there still has to be a percentage.
Forced incompletion percentage

One of the single biggest elements in quality DB play is the ability to make unassisted tackles in open space, and I don't know if that gets factored into some of these rankings. The difference between a pass play going for 3 yards or 20...does a WR often make a guy miss.

I’d like to see this one too. I’m just not sure it has been quantified.

Team interceptions
This is a noteworthy stat, but it doesn’t differentiate between a QB making a poor decision and throwing straight to a DB and a DB straight up taking the ball away from a receiver.
That’s a pretty big difference.
UF is going to get a lot of interceptions because the pressure the front of your defense gets on (inexperienced) QBs forces them to make more bad decisions.

Vanderbilt is DBU now, just so LSU and UF will quit arguing about it.

Why don't you just click through the years and see who has had the better pass defense?
Are you saying Mizzou is DBU?
Come on, total pass D is reflective of a lot more positions than just DBs.

So you base it all on the 10 ypg differential one way or the other between the teams? Ignoring the fact that DBU means more than just how many yards passing is given up, you're arguing that UF's backfield (15 pass TDs against, 8 INTs) was better than LSU's (7 pass TDs against, 18 INTs) in 2011, for example, because they allowed 5 less yards per game?

Can't. Find. lsu.
It'd be a lot easier to find us if we played two FCS schools, UKs QB who quite possibly could be the nations WORST QB, Bo Nix, and a SHITE Tennessee team. But whatever helps you sleep at night

2 things:
1) Click through the years doesn't mean just 2019
2) Passing Defense stat doesn't work for your argument, so it is of no use
If you can't use passing defense to determine who is better then you can't use passing stats to determine which QB is better. It is also reflective of many more positions than QB. So quit showing Burrow''s passing stats.

I didn’t say it’s of no use. I just believe “forced incompletions” is a better measure of a CB’s performance specifically than “passing defense.”

Of course you do.

It does make you wonder if LSU DBs are having to make great plays because their DL is poor at generating pressure.
No - LSU is #37 (tied with a bunch of others) at 2.6 sacks per game.
Honestly in sacks per game though, rankings can be a bit misleading.
Florida, for example, ranks #5 at 4.33 sacks per game. LSU is 32 spots behind them while having 1.73 fewer sacks per game.
UTEP, at 119th, averages 1 sack per game. UTEP is 82 spots behind LSU while having 1.6 fewer sacks per game.

On the Auburn broadcast, didn't they say that the two starting DB's for Florida were playing together for the first time in 2 years and that Florida has been playing with true freshman there all year?
We are going to win, but it is going to be a fight.
