my house.

Any y’all familiar with this chain-biscuit cathedral?

The line this morning was insane. It’s definitely my favorite fast-food joint.

What else are you near?

(i.e. do they have locations in SEC cities)

One type, but the dough can be adorned with a variety of dead animal parts (mostly swine).

Highly recommended.

As far as I know, Biscuitville is only in Virginia and North Carolina. Seems as good a reason for SEC expansion as any.

But since you asked, other things near (within 3 miles) of my house:

- 3 Waffle Houses
- 2 Bojangles
- 1 Popeyes
- probably 10 tattoo places
- 1,000 vape shops

(I live near N.C. State)

Aside from the Waffle Houses, sounds like a terrible place to live.

Tell me about where you live.

I’m originally from rural Missouri (I’m 45 years old and my mother was mayor of our town of 500 people).

But I had to move where the jobs are. I choose to live in an urban place (over the suburbs) because I value the variety of experiences and shorter commutes - not only to work, but everything else.

Dirt poor neighborhood but no chains or check cashing places nearby.
Small owner operated food nearby and neighbors know each other.

I hear ya, I am closer to your mom's or grandmothers age and corporate America is bigger, not better.

Keep up the good fight, raise them kids right.

Our Waffle House failed one too many health inspections and got shut down. Thank God we have two local breakfast places that dish up great food.

I had Biscuitville once in NC and honestly was not a fan. But i'm partial to Tudors in West Virginia, so maybe thats why

We don't have one here in Richmond (to my knowledge) but I do live close to a Waffle House, Cookout, 2 Bojangles, Popeyes, Zaxbys and Canes.
