it's crazy the younger generation has no idea what he meant to the university and state.

I'm making it a point this yr to visit and enjoy a meal at two of his favorite restaurants Waysider and City Cafe the day before a game.I live in North Alabama and always wanted to do it.

I was blessed to see him pregame leaning against that goal post. I was only 9 years old & was in awe of the legend he was. 2 months later he was sadly taken from us. He restored Bama football when it was historically down. His legend will live on forever.
