Through two games, Hicks has completed just 21 of 45 passes (46.7 percent) for 241 yards - an average of 5.4 yards per attempt. Starkel had a critical interception last week, but is now 21 of 29 passing (72.4 percent) for 249 yards - an average of 8.6 yards per attempt.

Even though everything is in Starkel's favor except for INTs. The biggest factor is the yards per attempt.

We are going to rely heavily on Boyd to be successful. Teams are going to continue to stack the box and play closer to the line if we don't have a QB that can throw it more than 5 yards down the field. Starkel at least creates that threat by just being in the game. He also can get the ball out much faster than Hicks which is going to be needed with our Oline.

Chad has a presser at noon, I'm sure he'll name Starkel the starter. Can't have random idiots on Hogville looking smarter than the head coach.

If he says Hicks is the starter then I might be convinced he's trying to get fired on purpose to collect the buyout money.

He'll probably name Boyd the starter after last week. Wildcat 24/7.
