hicks knows the offense and prevents stupid penalties. in a normal situation where the guy is a capable game manager you stick here for a year
the problem is he isn't capable in normal situations and sometimes someone still gets a penalty and he cant dig us out.
starkel will not prevent penalties or misalignments. he can throw his way out of the mess though which is better than nothing

The "offense" isn't good enough to just use a game manager. The "offense" looks like repetitive, predictable dog shite with Hick in the game. He looks scared to throw the ball half of the time.

Optimistic about a coach who two years in a row couldn't figure out who the best QB on the team is ? Morris has got to be the dumbest m freaker in the world to not see the difference between Hicks and Starkel. And don't give me this he doesn't know the offense garbage. You simplify the offense, give Starkel EVERY rep and you build on it as the year progresses. Thats coaching 101 folks. You put your studs on the field. Morris is a joke. Even if he had a team loaded with seniors he would find some way to get beat. He's lost. The play calling is crap. The wildhog ? Really ? Please someone fire this clown and bring us Norvell. It should be noted that I was VERY drunk when I created this thread, despite my usual grammatical perfection. I may have been a little overly optimistic with my wording...
That being said, I stand by it. I do feel like this is a different team with Starkel at the helm and that we'll win a few games because he appears to be a gamer. He may make a stupid throw every so often, but we don't have the luxury of avoiding that now.
Chad should've started him from the jump, this
is ultimately his fault and his loss.

If Chad starts Hicks next week he should pack up his shite and leave.
Starkel is clearly the better option for a number of reasons most importantly he is accurate and can make the defense respect the deep ball.
I don't give a shite if he throws an interception every so often or doesn't know the offense as well. He gives you a chance to win.
Chad needs to gtfo with that "Ben knows the offense" shtick. Ben isn't going to win you many games, and you need to start winning games because your time here will be short if you don't.
