Knowing Freeze won't come back, I'd go for Leach or Norvell

If he can get his sex addiction under control, he’d be an excellent coach.

The bring back freeze crowd always forgets he made 2 terrible coordinator hires that he never had to face consequences for and that he escalated the NCAA investigation with his ego. He would’ve been fired for those hires just like Luke should be fired for keeping them on staff to waste the talent we had left.

He’s better than Luke but damn our bar is low if we want freeze back after we all see through his BS

Freeze should be praised for his initial success but he clearly had no ability to a) handle success and b) sustain it.

If you think freeze would’ve been successful with those coordinators you are insane

If the worst thing about Freeze was his ego and two bad coordinator hires, I think his accomplishments far outweigh the negatives. I'll take the pros with those negatives all day long

I feel like everyone forgets freeze took us from 2-10 to a sugar bowl win.

We paid freeze millions of dollars a year and he legitimately thought McGriff was an SEC coordinator. His ego wanting to be the smartest guy in the room would’ve cost him the job had he not had personal issues.

Norvell, right now, would be the #1 target.

If Norvell was hireable he would have been hired a couple years ago.

I don't want Luke and thinking Hugh would or could ever come back here is stupidly laughable. You guys remember that he through the university under the buss right?

Regardless, I don't know of any realistic candidates that would excite or intrigue me at all.

These dudes are still pretending that Freeze isn’t directly responsible for Longo, McGriff, Luke, and the sanctions themselves. They also think Norvell is hirable even though Arkansas, Tennessee, and us were all available and they all passed. Delusion or trolling is irrelevant if you’re dealing with morons.

The difference was that when Freeze was in the HC office, we won and Ole Miss football was the most fun to watch ever in my lifetime. Leadership starts at the top. A sign of a bad leader is that everyone looks bad. That's football under Luke. You cannot judge Freeze on McGriff and Longo because he did not coach a single game with them. We don't know how that dynamic would have worked.

are you serious? Freeze’s record is worse than David Cutcliffe’s at this point. So I can’t judge him on two hires he personally vetted and hired? I know exactly how it would’ve worked the same as when Womack and Werner we here. He would take credit for their success and blame them for their failure. Also Luke would still be here in either scenario.
