I moved to S.E. Louisiana in 2008 and all of my new friends were LSU fans. I wanted to keep up with LSU because of my friends. However, I discovered that TD is a hell of a lot more than just SEC football and I was hooked.

That's what happens when your players view the postseason as "playoffs or bust." They should decimate the 'Horns based on raw talent alone. If we don't make the playoffs this year, I pray that we get the opportunity to play Texas again and exact revenge. If the players take the game seriously, UT will get destroyed. The talent gap is just too pronounced.

There was one year, 2017, where Georgia and Texas weren't in the same neighborhood of recruiting. That year probably did create an "experience gap" but the "talent gap" between Texas and the other non-Alabama SEC teams doesn't seem particularly valid.

Because we’ (OU) have played an SEC team 7 years straight & that’s not changing soon (at least in the regular season with future home/home with Bama/LSUGeorgia/Tennessee). Aggies can go f themself & I have never nor will ever post on their shite boards.

Great site. I like college football, and this site brings perspectives from more schools than any other site.
I'm also not paying $9.95 for something I can get for free if I wait 20 minutes.
The more I understand about other teams, the more objective I can be about their relative strengths and weaknesses. (I make decisions on all of the available information rather than having a preconceived notion, and only choosing data that supports that conclusion.)
With so many Texas kids playing in the SEC, it is natural to follow them and their careers.
I don't get the newspaper any more, so reading about the awakening of the aggy sleeping giant are the only funnies I get.

Because there is no such thing as an ACC Rant. Clemson fans want to pound their chest and talk trash but nobody in the ACC cares enough to respond. I don't know WTF Oklahoma fans are on here.

If the game was played again tomorrow, you'd likely get your arses kicked again. You're suffering from delusions of grandeur. In reality, much like the vast majority of your conference, you're just another good team that thinks sharing conference affiliation with a great program somehow makes you great. It doesn't.
Now, stop embarrassing yourself with this "our guys didn't wanna be there" crap. It makes you sound like aggy, and I would hope that you are at least better than that.

I don't know why...Georgia's band dwarfed Texas' band on the field.
Texas Longhorn Band = 375 members
Georgia Redcoat Band = 450 members
Texas' pregame drill was its usual march from one endzone to the other and you spelled out your state. Wow, 5 letters. Georgia spells out its state with 7 letters with enough sousaphones to line it out from the "G" to the "A".
Georgia's pregame show was a tribute to Aretha Franklin, playing some of her famous songs. UGA's Redcoats put on a more entertaining show.
Texas's band just tried to pay tribute to itself. Boring and self-centered. Your uniforms were downright ugly. And so are your colors...y'all look like Goodwill hand-me-downs in a clown suit.
Georgia? We...are...classy. Nothing beats Regal Red & Tuxedo Black with that dash of silver.

And we appreciate your constant threads and attention.
I rarely start threads here, and mostly respond to troll threads from other schools about Clemson. With the number of posts about Clemson on this forum these days, someone could make it a full time job.
Clemson focused threads used to get whacked on here, but I think the mods have now granted us honorary status for doing something no other SEC team could do.
The best part is the quality in season melts. Other schools in the ACC are rarely kicking the dog or poisoning trees over losses. It’s fun to witness that kind of melt firsthand.

Interested in potential matchups with SEC teams. We play A&M and USC this year... always interesting to see what they say.
