Sorry to hear this guys. If you recall, Georgia had their #1 Freshman RB tear his ACL in Fall Camp last year, so I know the feeling.

What type of foot injury causes the whole year out ? Never had a foot injury so not too familiar

Torn Achilles. Torn ligaments. Severe bone break. Any combination of those.

A “Lisfranc” injury or fracture, particularly in a running back.

Even “Turf toe” can put you on the sidelines for quite a stretch. Hell it practicallly ended Deion Sanders career, granted he was on the back end by the time he sustained the injury.
