My first post was "smh A fan that hopes his team loses" I didn't mention Freeze or Luke or try to hijack this thread.

Now that Givens is out (i knew we wouldn't survive offseason without injuries), we are in big trouble. Luke should need to beat Memphis, Ark, and Vandy to keep his job.

Has there been a new development? Neal and chase said yesterday he should be back by the Memphis game.

I plan to go but I'm not holding out any hope of winning. Memphis is the contender to win their conference this year. What kills me is rival fans always laugh about the loss to Memphis in 2015. The problem is that Memphis is having their best 5-6 year run in program history. This team isn't a pushover anymore.

Yeah it wasn't him that was saying that but the other guys are really doom and gloom. I listened to the podcast one of the guys is a big Cowboys fan. Apparently Tony Romo had the same injury and that's why they think its going to take forever. I remember that injury Tony's back was really fricked up. I don't think Givens is even close to that. So yeah he might not be back. The recovery time is 6-8 weeks and on Aug 28th will be 6 weeks. We might not have him the first week but I think hell be back for Arkansas.

Sad but we can go to a bowl with wins over Memphis, Vandy Arkansas, Cal, NM St and Hammond High, while getting pummeled by Mizzou and the rest of the SEC West.

There, a team that has beaten actual, competent college football teams will be very happy to see us.

But, hey, it's a bowl game!

^^^ You are correct. I've said the same thing. And if we don't beat Memphis, it might need to be State at the end. That would be glorious and I think we will be a better team at season's end as well barring significant injuries. Let's just beat both Memphis and State.

Watching this Memphis-Navy game is more evidence that our visit to the Liberty Bowl was their Super Bowl. And it’s a good game btw but the crowd ain’t there. I know it’s way cooler in that place tonight. We should have won. That is all.

Two shite calls kept Memphis drives going that ended in touchdowns. A face mask that was all shoulder pad and a late hit that the QB still had the ball in his hands. We should have won the game.

If we are blaming refs for us losing against fricking Memphis, our program is lost. It shouldn't come down to missed calls by refs

And out coached us. Whoever takes the risk and hires Norvell away from them is going to be very scary

Henry why do you even post? You can't look at anything objective at all.
