Question about Quinn's horrible game management

Does anyone know if he has hired someone to manage timeouts, etc now that he is the DC again?
when he was just the head coach, it made sense for him to have those duties. He was not good at it, but it made sense. Now that he's calling plays on defense, is there someone else in charge of this?

They hired Kyle Flood in January to be the game management coach and help with this. But Alabama then hired Flood as oline coach. I don't think the Falcons hired someone else for the position after Flood left. Not sure if some of those duties will be assigned to one of the several veteran coaches with HC experience on the staff?

I sure as hell hope they hired a replacement for this Flood guy.

They were talking on the radio this morning that they hired someone to help with timeouts and clock manager but I can't remember the name.

they definitely hired someone to replace the guy they originally hired for the job. one of the things they determined after the end of last season was that Quinn needed to take over control of the defense and bring in someone to help with overall game management. they did both.

Yep, the Chiefs DC from last year, Bob Sutton, has replaced Kyle Flood.

At least the staff can see areas of need and attempt to fix.

I'd rather the coaches be given the opportunity to do this rather than overreacting and firing them after 2-3 years. there is something to be said about having continuity

Agreed.
Quinn seems to be great at identifying guys that will fit his system. He clearly keeps them motivated and knows the game.
Time management was a glaring weak spot last 2 years. I'm happy to see others being given that responsibility.
