I haven’t caught up on what goes on here but I saw the prediction thread...yikes

Not uncommon I guess...apologies for the word use

I just see us handle business against OOC

W @ OM week 2 - they might be the team with more overall concerns on O. I think Starkel takes over here

W @ UK - they just don’t have a lot of talent and lost their team in the draft. They will have a decent D but the O will be Up and down

W MSU - by this point we are bowl eligible and moving up the bowl pecking order a smidge

W Mizz - because I said so...ha

So there it is. Chad has been a winner his entire life...I’m not predicting Clemson all over but I think he gets the ship righted.

We got Seniors in the right spot and young albeit unproven talent. Our QB room is in great shape and got better just due to subtraction. We need Starkel to win the job. I think Hicks could get us to 6 though

The OL has to make a turnaround but they should be good enough in the wins above.

Your four conference wins are about the most we could in our wildest dreams POSSIBLY make ourselves secretly hope for this year. Could those four happen? Yes, but it would be a be a stretch to count them as wins at the moment. I am hoping that we win two of those.

8 wins would be deserving of COY award.

80% W CO state - isn't an auto win

60% L @OM - this game will make or break their season, so is a must win for OM, not so much for us, and it's an away game

50% L @UK - it's an away game

L MSU - we get them after vols LSU and tamu, but they still outclass us and we will have just gotten destroyed by bama

L Mizz - they outclass us

Fry said he won't play freshmen OL
Cooper sounds like he doesn't expect our secondary to be good until later in the season
I like the way the roster is shaping up, but I don't think it's going to start paying off until next year. Our OL still looks really really bad, but hopefully I'm completely wrong. I don't mind losing the first 2 seasons to retool the roster, sucks though. the next two seasons are going to be brutal with notre dame, texas and georgia.

Lord. I am pessimistic, but not this pessimistic...

Though I can fully believe this is what happens.

We really didn't have much choice. Both for the fact that Bert left us in shambles and the offensive philosophies and players required could not be more different.

To be fair, if the Oline improves enough for the offense to run I could see us get to a good bowl. Tamu will be the most important game this season.

I'm praying for a wild turnover game and we get to 6. This is now the state of my fandom.

Chad is gonna lose to Colorado State, again.

I'll go with what I had us with the last 2 seasons..3 wins.

No way we lose to Colorado State again. They lost the one guy that we couldn’t cover and we improved at the QB position which killed us.

Not to mention they couldn’t stop Boyd or Whaley before they both got hurt. We would have won that game easily without those injuries opening the door for their comeback.

I'm stealing this. Thank you.

This team's ceiling is 8 wins and that really would warrant COTY. The cellar is 3. We'll probably end up with 5. Just my opinion which isn't really worth a whole lot. 2 wins or less? Set fire to the stadium, collect the insurance money and turn the site into a parking lot.

Just like no way we lose to them last year, or north Texas... Right.

No excuse for North Texas but we 100% would not have lost to CSU without both Boyd and Whaley getting hurt.

I mean, they beat us 44-17. They were just better. The seasons that ensued for each team after our game reflect that.
